I accomplished all that and more. While working my way down to the bay, I got sidetracked and decided to explore the entire area. I picked up a quest from a goblin stuck up on a hill mad about his compass and other supplies being kept by the Blood Elves who abandoned his services. Getting to him brought me in rather close to some satyrs. I ran across some Timbermaw furbogs, but they would not speak to me yet. I'm just grateful they did not attack either. I'm slowly working my way into their good graces. I had more than a few battles dealing with the elves and the demons, but a side benefit was a bag full of herbs.
I fished off a chunk of ruins in the bay and got more than enough lobster for myself and to share with Doemar or sell. I also discovered a group of water elementals called Hydraxis Waterlords. The leader wanted me to fight other elementals in Silithus, but I declined...for now. I fished up several crates (all locked) and opened a few chests here and there, which netted a very nice polearm to sell at auction.
I wish I had stayed out there with the fish! Dealing with people proved a problem. It is one thing to deal with the enemy, another to deal with squabbles and jealousy within your own camps. I did not sleep well last night. I think going back to war in Alterac Valley will be welcome.
